Very little is known about the author of this book. Some experts believe Professor Krump is a pseudonym used by the author in order protect himself and his family against the sinister groups he exposed. When we stumbled across this rare treasure in an out of the way book shop on Long Island, we knew we had to include it in the film, Mnemonica.

When writing the screenplay, I had the character Alice Klosterman read this book in a pivotal scene between her and Bucky Kaps. This decision may have been deliberate.
